INFORMATION IN SPANISH
ESL: We offer free English classes. Tuition is only $40. Classes are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. During these sessions fundamental levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be taught. These levels are designed to help students with the English language.
Preparation for the American citizenship test:
free instruction. You must be enrolled in ENL classes to qualify for this program. Single session every Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This course covers all topics found on the US citizenship test such as US history and the US system of government. Also, it offers the opportunity to become familiar with important federal documents as well as the applications necessary for the citizenship registration process.
Literacy in their mother tongue (Spanish) :
This free course is designed for Spanish-speaking students who need to learn to read and write in Spanish. You only pay $40 tuition. The student will be able to work at their own pace and will receive individual assistance. The only requirement for this wonderful opportunity is to be over 21 years of age.

Counseling Services: Central Islip Adult Education offers free counseling services to guide students in educational, vocational or personal areas. We also offer advice and information to look for work or continue your studies. Do not wait any longer, make an appointment with your counselor.
Computer Workshops: Basic, intermediate and advanced level computer classes are offered in Spanish.
